Mt. Coffee-White Plains Raw Water Transmission Main, Liberia

M/s. Liberia Water & Sewerage Corporation (LWSC) are currently constructing a new pipeline from Mount Coffee Hydro Power Plant to White Plains Treatment Plant to renovate the old 48" raw water gravity mains which was destroyed in the war. The new 4.5 kilometre long pipeline will be constructed using Ductile Iron DN 1200mm C25 pipes. The 18$ million project is being financed by Millennium Challenge Account - Liberia (MCA-L).

* ELECTROTHERM brand Ductile Iron Pipes to BS EN 545: 2010, DN 1200mm C25 - 4510 meters - 1865 tons, manufactured by M/s. Electrotherm India Limited.

* EVER brand Ductile Iron Fittings to EN 545: 2010, manufactured by M/s. Liaoning Ever Metal Forming Tech Co. Limited - 40 tons 

The project construction started at the beginning of November 2010.

The project has been completed and the line has been tested and commissioned and handed over to the client in October 2020.

The contractor issued satisfactory completion certificates to both suppliers for this project.
